The Isle of Wyrms Hatchlings are becoming known around Second Life. Perhaps your sim has experienced the madness and chaos of the Hatchy Raids that take place unexpectedly - about 15 or 20 Hatchies running around between people's legs, playing silly gestures and engaging in pirate talk. I had a good time shooting them!
Hatchies are the smallest of the three sizes of Daryth Kennedy's dragon AVs that you can purchase on the Isle of Wyrms. There are also Wyrmlings (mid-sized, teen dragons) and the awesome adult dragons (largest-sized), but it seems that the Hatchies are having the most fun!

There is a camaraderie among Hatchies that I haven't seen in the other two sizes. Because Hatchies are small and cuddly, they get away with more. It's just plain hard to scold a Hatchie for playing a rude gesture sound, because they are so cute! But, don't be fooled. Hatchies can be quite a disruptive force - in good fun, or course!
I was new to Second Life and had learned enough to where I wanted to bring my photography skills out of RL (real life) and into the virtual world. However, I needed some subjects in order to build up my portfolio of Second Life portriates and landscapes.
The Hatchies (of which I am one) seemed like the most willing subjects. They freely gave of their time and were, for the most part, very patient with me and compliant to my photographic direction. However, I will say here, that there were a couple of times when it felt like I was herding cats! hehe
All in all it was a very fun and successful photo shoot. We found a nice location on the Isle of Wyrms and several of the Hatchies even agreed to be my photo subjects at other times and wearing other AVs. It was a great time! Thanks to all the Hatchies that helped me. Hatchies Rule!!!
NOTE: If you are a reader and interested in becoming a dragon, check out the Cathedral on the Isle of Wyrms, ask questions and join the fun! There is a rich community! Come be a part!
